In Mosca, Colorado we will pay a visit to the Colorado Alligator Farm. The admission is $6 for adults. After our visit to the Alligator Farm, if all participants still have the same number of body appendages they arrived with, we will continue on to Antonito for the night. Rooms have been blocked out at the Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn in Antonito. It is within walking distance of the Cumbres & Toltec Narrow Gauge Railroad station. You must confirm your reservation by calling the hotel (ask for Darla) at 719-376-5441 or 800-323-9469 by May 15th. Rooms are under the name "RMVTA" or "William Gillespie". The rate is $52.92 for rooms with one bed, and $58.80 for rooms with two beds. Those prices include tax.
Sunday (Overnight in Monte Vista):
Sunday is a day for you to do your own thing. Some may want to ride to Chama, New Mexico via La Manga and Cumbres Passes. You may wish to visit the Great Sand Dunes National Monument. There are lots of fine motorcycle roads in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.

For those interested, spaces have been reserved on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. The C&TS is a narrow gauge line opened in 1880, and was once part of the Denver & Rio Grande's "San Juan Extension" serving the mining camps of the area. The line was recently named "one of the 20 best railway experiences in the world" by the Society of International Railway Travelers. We will be leaving Antonito via motorcoach for Chama at 8:30 a.m. Our train will depart from the Chama station at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at the mid-point of the train trip at Osier. The train will arrive in Antonito at about 4:30 p.m. The Adult price for the train & transportation is $64.75. If you would like to reserve space on the train, contact Bill Gillespie at 303-781-0032 or 303-758-8804. Space is limited, so act now.

The overnight stay for Sunday night will be in Monte Vista, Colorado at the Movie Manor Motel. This is a Best Western Inn owned by the same people who own the adjacent drive-in theater. The motel rooms have large picture windows for viewing the movie, and speakers. I don't know what will be playing, but it should be fun. You must confirm your reservation by calling the hotel at 719-852-5921 or 800-771-9468 by May 15th. Rooms are under the name "RMVTA" or "William Gillespie". The rate is $99.00 + tax for all rooms. A little pricey, but that includes the movie!
