Fuel up and eat before departure       Head west on 6th Ave, south on I-70/C-470, to US 85 (Santa Fe) (22). South on US 85 to CO 67, Sedalia (10). Turn on CO 67 through Deckers (27), Westcreek (9), then to US 24, Woodland Park (15).      83 mi.       East on US 24 through Mantiou Springs to Colorado Springs ,South 21st St (16). Turn south on 21st which turns into Cresta Rd. to Lake Ave. Follow the signs to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (6).      22 mi.         Total to Zoo 104 mi.       Eat lunch at the zoo. Sounds delicious. We will fuel up when we leave the zoo for the trip back home.       Return trip via Lake Ave, to US 85 to I-25 (6). North on I-25 to exit 151 (14), then to CO 83 (1).
