Royal President's Gorge Run       Captain: Steve Inouye Phone: (303) 274-2472       Date: July 8 Sunday       Meet: 8:45 am at I-25 & Aparahoe Road (Target parking lot)       Ride leaves at 9:00 AM. Eat & fuel before meeting.       Depart south on I-25 through Colorado Springs to Co 115 (57). Take Co 115   south to US 50 (32), then west to Canon City (12) where we will gas up and   proceed west to the Royal Gorge (25). 126 mi    If I get up enough nerve, we may even ride across the bridge & back. We also intend to ride the "inclinator tram" down to the bottom of the Gorge. There are many park & picnic areas at the Gorge and we may elect to have a picnic lunch there.       We will leave the Royal Gorge area @ 2:00 PM and head north west on Co 9   through Hartsel (41) to Fairplay (19) turning northeast on US 285 back to   Denver (68) around 5:30 to 6:00 PM. 128 mi         Ride Total 254 mi       Additional gas stops will be determined by the types of bikes that attend the ride.       Also, anyone interested may join us at Gunther Toodies for breakfast at 7:00 AM next to the Target parking lot.
