Spring Polar Bear Ride       Captain: Ken Kenaston Phone: (303) 344-9368       Date: March 12, 2000 Sunday       Meet: 8:30 AM at 120th & I-25 (Holiday Inn Parking lot) - eat and fuel before meeting Ride leaves at 8:45 AM       Weather permitting, we will take a scenic ride through the mountains and foothills. In the event the weather is "really-really" cold, we will take a shorter ride along the North Platte river to a great lunch at a very unusual place. In either event, we will be back to town by 5:00 PM. This ride will go regardless of the temperature. THIS RIDE WILL NOT GO IF THE ROADS ARE ICY, SNOWY OR IF IT IS SNOWING. Come prepared to ride in the conditions that exist at the time and that are forecast for the day. Riding in the cold can be dangerous if you are not prepared. If you are prepared, it is extremely enjoyable and your bike runs like no other time. Plus, meeting the challenge gives you a great feeling of accomplishment.        Fair weather rider?
